Rat Anti Brdu mAb | 513-DmAbT-50301RB
 General description:
5′-Bromo-2-deoxyuridine (BrdU) is a carcinogen that may be absorbed by skin or inhalation. BrdU solutions are sensitive to light. Bromodeoxyuridine (5-Bromo-2-Deoxyuridine, BrdU) is an analogue of thymidine that is selectively incorporated into cell DNA at the S phase of the cell cycle.
Anti-BrdU antibody, Mouse monoclonal (mouse IgG1) is derived from the BU-33 hybridoma produced by the fusion of murine myeloma cells and splenocytes from BALB/c mouse immunized with bromodeoxyuridine (BrdU) conjugated to KLH.5′-Bromo-2-deoxyuridine (BrdU) staining is predominantly used to observe the multiplication of tumor cells and other tissues in vivo.

PrecisionAb is a trademark of Bio-Rad Laboratories
 Specificity:
Reacts specifically with BrdU (bromodeoxyuridine) incorporated into DNA or coupled to a protein carrier. Cross-reaction with IdU (iododeoxyuridine) is observed.
 Immunogen:
 bromodeoxyuridine conjugated to KLH.
 Application:
Anti-BrdU antibody has been used in:
  - BrdU labeling
  - immunohistochemistry
  - immunostaining
  - BrdU assay

Anti-BrdU antibody, Mouse monoclonal has been used in immunostaining, as a primary antibody:
  - to detect 5-fluorouridine-labelled RNA
  - to detect 5-bromo-2′-deoxyuridine (BrdU) labelled immunoreactive cells
  - against BrdU labelled rat retinal sections

 Packaging:
 200 μL in glass bottle
 Physical form:
Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium axide.
 Storage and Stability:
For continuous use, store at 2-8 °C for up to one month. For prolonged storage, freeze in working aliquots at -20 °C. Repeated freezing and thawing, or storage in “frost-free” freezers, is not recommended. If slight turbidity occurs upon prolonged storage, clarify the solution by centrifugation. Working dilution samples should be discarded if not used within 12 hours.
