Co NTA Beads 6FF is intended for preparative purification of histidine-tagged recombinant proteins from both prokaryotic and eukaryotic expression systems.
The medium consists of highly cross-linked 6% agarose with an immobilized chelating group. The TALON ligand is a tetradentate chelator charged with cobalt ions.
Compared with nickel-charged media, Co NTA Beads 6FF offers enhanced selectivity for histidine-tagged proteins, making it suitable for selective protein purification workflows.
