Ni Smart Beads 6FF
Ni Smart Beads 6FF is a new immobilized metal ion affinity chromatography (IMAC) medium precharged with nickel ions. It is designed mainly for the capture and purification of histidine-tagged proteins secreted into eukaryotic cell culture supernatants.
The strong binding of nickel ions provides very high resistance to EDTA and reducing agents such as DTT. This makes the medium suitable for purification workflows where these components may be present in the sample or buffer.
Ni Smart Beads 6FF enables direct loading of large sample volumes without the need to remove agents that can strip nickel ions from conventional IMAC media. The medium is stable in commonly used IMAC buffers.
