rProtein A Magarose Beads
Magarose Beads are superparamagnetic microspheres that provide rapid magnetic responsiveness for biological separation and purification applications. Their surfaces can be coupled with peptides, proteins, antibodies, and oligomeric nucleotide biological ligands.
With a particle size of approximately 30–100 μm, Magarose Beads are designed for biological examination and purification experiments where magnetic handling provides a convenient alternative to conventional chromatography workflows.
rProtein A Magarose Beads are affinity chromatography magnetic beads designed for convenient, one-step binding of immunoglobulin classes, subclasses, and fragments from biological fluids and cell culture media. Recombinant Protein A is coupled directly to the magnetic agarose beads for selective IgG purification.

Selective Fc-Mediated IgG Binding
Protein A is a bacterial cell wall protein originally isolated from Staphylococcus aureus. It binds mammalian IgGs primarily through their Fc regions, enabling affinity-based capture of immunoglobulins.
The recombinant Protein A used in rProtein A Magarose Beads contains five high-affinity IgG-binding domains, while other non-essential domains have been removed to reduce nonspecific binding.
Because Protein A interacts with the Fc region of antibodies, the Fab region remains available for antigen binding. This makes Protein A affinity purification useful for downstream antibody research and molecular biology applications.
