Mouse C5a (Complement Component 5a) ELISA Kit | G-EC-04275 | Gentaur Elisa Kits

Target Species: Mouse

Type: Sandwich

Assay Time: 3.5h

Detection Type: Colormetric

Sensitivity: 37.5pg/mL

Detection Range: 62.5~4000pg/mL

UniProt ID: P06684 (679~1680aa)

Target Name: C5a

Target Synonym: C5a

Tested Sample Types: Serum, plasma and other biological fluids

Test Principle: This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse C5a. Samples (or Standards) are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Mouse C5a and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Mouse C5a, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Mouse C5a. You can calculate the concentration of Mouse C5a in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

Specificity: This kit recognizes Mouse C5a in samples. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Mouse C5a and analogues was observed.

Application: This ELISA kit applies to the in vitro quantitative determination of Mouse C5a concentrations in Serum, plasma and other biological fluids.

Research Areas: Cell Biology, Metabolism, Immunology, Signal transduction

Storage: An unopened kit can be stored at 2-8℃ for 1 month. If the kit is not supposed to be used within 1 month, store the items separately according to the storage table in the manual once the kit is received.
