Rat PACAP-38 (Pituitary Adenylate Cyclase Activating Polypeptide 38) ELISA Kit | G-EC-00195 | Gentaur Elisa Kits
Target Species: Rat
Assay Time: 2.5h
Detection Type: Colormetric
Detection Range: 7.81~500pg/mL
Target Name: PACAP-38
Target Synonym: PACAP-38
Tested Sample Types: Serum, plasma and other biological fluids
Test Principle: This ELISA kit uses the Competitive-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Rat PACAP-38. During the reaction, Rat PACAP-38 in samples or Standard competes with a fixed amount of Rat PACAP-38 on the solid phase supporter for sites on the Biotinylated Detection Ab specific to Rat PACAP-38. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed from the plate, and Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) are added to each microplate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 ± 2 nm. The concentration of Rat PACAP-38 in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
Specificity: This kit recognizes Rat PACAP-38 in samples. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Rat PACAP-38 and analogues was observed.
Application: This ELISA kit applies to the in vitro quantitative determination of Rat PACAP-38 concentrations in Serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Research Areas: Neuroscience
Storage: An unopened kit can be stored at 2-8℃ for 1 month. If the kit is not supposed to be used within 1 month, store the items separately according to the storage table in the manual once the kit is received.
