Human α-CTx (Alpha Crosslaps) ELISA Kit | G-EC-00074 | Gentaur Elisa Kits

Target Species: Human

Type: Competitive

Assay Time: 2.5h

Detection Type: Colormetric

Sensitivity: 56.25pg/mL

Detection Range: 93.75~6000pg/mL

UniProt ID: P50983

Target Name: α-CTx

Target Synonym: a-CTXI, aCTX-I, A-Cr, Type I Collagen C-Telopeptide-Related Fraction

Tested Sample Types: Serum, plasma and other biological fluids

Test Principle: This ELISA kit uses the Competitive-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Human α-CTx. During the reaction, Human α-CTx in samples or Standard competes with a fixed amount of Human α-CTx on the solid phase supporter for sites on the Biotinylated Detection Ab specific to Human α-CTx. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed from the plate, and Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) are added to each microplate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 ± 2 nm. The concentration of Human α-CTx in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

Specificity: This kit recognizes Human α-CTx in samples. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Human α-CTx and analogues was observed.

Application: This ELISA kit applies to the in vitro quantitative determination of Human α-CTx concentrations in Serum, plasma and other biological fluids.

Research Areas: Signal transduction, Metabolism

Storage: An unopened kit can be stored at 2-8℃ for 1 month. If the kit is not supposed to be used within 1 month, store the items separately according to the storage table in the manual once the kit is received.
