Mouse NSE (Neuron Specific Enolase) ELISA Kit | G-EC-04102 | Gentaur Elisa Kits
Target Species: Mouse
Type: Sandwich
Assay Time: 3.5h
Detection Type: Colormetric
Sensitivity: 46.88pg/mL
Detection Range: 78.13~5000pg/mL
UniProt ID: P17183
Target Name: NSE
Target Synonym: Enolase γ, Enolase 2
Tested Sample Types: Serum, plasma and other biological fluids
Test Principle: This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse NSE. Samples (or Standards) are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Mouse NSE and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Mouse NSE, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Mouse NSE. You can calculate the concentration of Mouse NSE in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
Specificity: This kit recognizes Mouse NSE in samples. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Mouse NSE and analogues was observed.
Application: This ELISA kit applies to the in vitro quantitative determination of Mouse NSE concentrations in Serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Research Areas: Cancer, Metabolism, Developmental biology, Neuroscience, Stem cells, Tags and Cell Markers
Storage: An unopened kit can be stored at 2-8℃ for 1 month. If the kit is not supposed to be used within 1 month, store the items separately according to the storage table in the manual once the kit is received.
